What is sand blasting, and how does it work?
Compressed air shoots sand through a hose at a very high speed directly at rust, scale, and old paint leaving the bare metal clean. Depending on the metal, it also removes grinding and machining marks and mill scale. Sandblasting allowing paint to adhere better and turn out smoother. This is the most effective way of providing a long-lasting, quality paint job on metal.
It can be used on small items or large. We have many types of sandblasting equipment for various job needs. Sand is usually used on metal, but we have several abrasives to suit the customer's job requirements
Sand, aluminum oxide, glass bead, and baking soda re the most common.
