120 Foot Steel Gurder

Many people ask us about size and weight limits for objects we ship and lift. Our largest forklift has a 17,500-pound lifting capacity, which allows us to quickly move large objects. We also have a large portable crane with a lifting capacity of 30 tons, which requires a minimal set up time. We ask that you call ahead if you have to drop off something heavier than 8 3/4 tons. In terms of size dimensions, we generally follow the rule that if you can get it here, we can unload and load it. The picture shown above is a steel girder 120 feet in length on an expandable semi-trailer. Oversized loads are no problem; in fact, this past summer we unloaded and sand blasted 12 frames each over 40 feet each in length and 15 feet high and 12 feet wide. If you have something heavier than 30 tons, please call us and talk with us about your project. We can sub-contract a specialized lifting company to help us lift heavier pieces.

We offer many shipping options as well. Many companies do their own shipping since they already have the trucks to do so. If you cannot ship to us, we can take care of shipping for you.
